When you see transformation up close, it’s hard to stay quiet about it.
That’s why this season, Care for Life is inviting supporters to become Ambassadors for Hope — a simple way to share the stories that are changing lives across Mozambique.
From surviving to thriving
Every family in Care for Life’s 36-month program begins with the same challenge: survival. Parents face impossible choices between food and medicine, between sending children to school or keeping them home to work. But over time, and with consistent support, something extraordinary happens.
The first gardens grow. Mothers attend health classes and learn how to prevent disease. Savings groups form. Fathers who once worked for pennies start small family businesses that change the household economy.
By the end of three years, families no longer rely on short-term aid. They rely on themselves.
What Ambassadors do
Becoming an Ambassador is simple. You can:
- Share Care for Life’s social posts and invite others to follow.
- Start your own Facebook fundraiser.
- Introduce friends, coworkers, or family to Care for Life.
- Help connect your workplace or church to sponsor a village family.
Each post or introduction builds a larger circle of hope. Every new connection brings more gardens, more children in school, and more stable households.
The results
In communities where Care for Life works, the change is measurable.
- Infant mortality has dropped by 39%.
- Maternal mortality has dropped by nearly 50%.
- 88% of children are now enrolled in school.
- 90% of families report eating three daily meals.
These aren’t statistics from a report — they’re proof that empowerment works.
Why your voice matters
When you share these stories, you’re not just spreading awareness — you’re multiplying generosity. Research shows that people are far more likely to give when they hear from someone they trust.
You don’t need to be an expert fundraiser. You only need to care enough to talk about what’s possible.
Becoming an Ambassador for Hope means standing with families as they move from surviving to thriving — and bringing others along for the journey.
