FPP Education
The main objectives of the Education Program are: a) provide quality training in each of FPP areas of emphasis and programs, b) increase parent and community participation on the efforts to send children to school and c) Improve literacy rates among adults specially women.
A great accomplishment this year was the promotion of literacy students that started with CFL three years ago to the 3rd year level in the communities of Mbatwe and Mungassa. That accomplishment will allow the government to establish paid instructors to teach the 3rd year level students. They will be under government educational supervision and control. They will be utilizing government materials and methodology. In practical terms that means that, as we leave those communities this year, new government official and permanent schools will be established there.
